Martha McDonnell is a New York City-based fiddle player, violinist, and singer.

Martha’s debut self-titled EP is out now.

Her latest projects include working with Sting on the world premiere run of his show, The Last Ship, performing as guest fiddler with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at Ravinia, appearing on stage in the original Broadway cast of Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's show Bright Star, and joining John Pizzarelli for a residency at Birdland. She also performed in the Tony Award-winning Broadway show Girl From the North Country, written by Conor McPherson and music by Bob Dylan, at the Belasco theater. Martha also plays with various bands, opening for artists such as John Fogerty and Maroon 5.

She has performed throughout the US and Europe, and both her fiddling and singing have been featured on television and radio, including The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Charlie Rose, and the Tony Awards.

She is also an avid writer and tennis player. When not making music, she enjoys making negronis, collecting New Yorker cartoons, and not camping.
